With our temperate climate, it’s time to plant a fall garden with vegetables that thrive in cooler weather. This lecture will describe vegetable varieties that you can plant through the fall, how to maintain them and when to harvest them. We will also review soil and site preparation.

Garden Talk: What is Bugging You in the Garden?

Come to our August Garden Talk at the Churchland Library and get help for what is bugging you in the garden. Portsmouth Master Gardeners will help you answer tough garden questions like “What’s that bug on my squash?” “What is this weed in my lawn?” This lecture will help identify common lawn and garden diseases and pests as well as discuss natural methods for controlling them.
