Library Talk: Garden Art from Found Objects

  • Churchland Branch Library 4934 High Street West Portsmouth, VA, 23703 United States (map)

📅 Date: Wednesday, Dec 17, 2025
Time: 6:30—7:30 PM
📍 Location: Churchland Branch Library

Gardens do a beautiful job of grabbing attention, however, just like fashion some outfits need accessories. For gardens this is where art can help pull attention or soften the look. While garden centers have plenty to choose from, the cost is high. Finding things on the side of the road and repurposing them into art for your garden is a creative way to reuse items that otherwise would end up as waste. The purpose of this talk is to provide ideas and encouragement to seek out your own garden art from objects found around town!
